'Angeles' releases new single 'We Fled', recorded and mixed by Liam Judson (Rolling Blackout Coastal Fever, Cloud Control) and announces single launch show.

New Sydney based alternative act 'Angeles' follow up their debut release ‘Crush / In The Garden’ with wild and enigmatic single 'We Fled'.

Hot on the heels of Angeles’ debut single Crush / In The Garden, which earned a rotation add on FBi Radio and plays across PBS and RRR, along with two sold-out debut shows at The Lansdowne Hotel, Angeles follows it up with 'We Fled' - released on 7.7.21

Pluto Sotiropoulos (Angeles) explains "It's a song I wrote, feeling so low and defeated after a fight, walking barefoot along a road and finding comfort and solace in the blistering burn beneath me"

Angeles has recently joined the Sunset Pig roster alongside A. Swayze & The Ghosts, Obscura Hail, Department + more. Angeles has also announced a local headline single launch show at Hiway Bar on the July 22nd in celebration of the single release. Supports TBC.

"A little slice of Factory Records in our own backyard. Angeles has a winner on their hands with this one." - Dave Ruby Howe, Triple j - on 'We Fled' ★★★★

It’s got that low-fi bedroom recording grittiness to it, with melodic hooks that get right under your skin - Life Without Andy

drowning me in a sea of distortion, it's filling my nose, it's filling my lungs. I willing cede myself to the depths.-  Tommy Faith, Triple J - on 'Crush' ★★★★

The mood sets right away and I love the washed out vibe. It draws me in. Reminds me of Beach House and even DMA's in texture. - Claire Mooney, Triple J-  on 'In The Garden' ★★★★

Fuzzy guitars, drums like heartbeats, and rich chorus bass soundtrack sighs of longing. - Happy Mag on 'In The Garden'
